The Urban Fox Investigates: BOOK ONE

The Urban Fox is a mystery. No one knows where he came from.  He won’t even share his proper name – he is just the Urban Fox.  He doesn’t talk about his past, but sometimes he looks full of secrets.  

His best friend Reg the hedgehog knows better than to ask.  Fox just appeared one day in town, and very quickly became someone everyone looked up to.  The one who got things done. Who helped others.  A gentleman, a rogue, a mystery man, a reluctant hero.  

One thing is certain – you don’t want to get on his wrong side.

What is life like for animals who now have to live in towns? 

They must adapt and keep their wits about them. The Urban Fox is a maestro at adapting to urban life. There are many stories about him. In the first one he has an enormous challenge to face – finding some fox cubs after their mother is killed by a car. Finding them is one thing but protecting and rearing them will be hard. RapArat, a deadly rapper with a large gang, also wants to find the cubs – as a meal. Then he comes up against the Urban Fox. 

The Urban Fox’s friends, Reg the hedgehog, Doris Dupont the matriarch hen, and the mysterious new Fox, Star, rally to help.
